Yesterday my good friend George and I restored/rebuild the nose of my Fiat 500 (1966) to its original state.
We started at 7:00 and finished at 15:45 we took a half hour break in between.

Have a look:

That looks like way too much fun, Curt. :) Maybe someday I'll find the time to work on mine:

(it'll eventually get a 671-blown 428CJ that I've been putting together for a few years :D )

Ow man that car is soooooo coool, I think you wouldn't mind if Chip Foose would lent it for a few days 8-)
Btw, I have to say that I'm a sucker for steel rims, not those cnc type Chip always uses on those overhauled beauties

I agree - those big rims can look cool if it's done right, but I think they're way too much of a fad. And much too expensive. I just prefer simple Weld pro stars:

So, should end up something like this:

Someday, anyway...

Yep, they don't come much cooler than that Jeremy!! 8)
Btw, do you drive yours? I hope you do. and what's the state, only cosmetic or do you have some hidden rust devils

I haven't driven it much for a couple years...the old hardware was getting tired. It's nowhere near as nice as yours - there's some rust in the back quarters to get rid of, but otherwise not too bad...most of the floor/etc. will get cut out to make way for rollcage/custom tinwork, so it'll work fine. I got a mother of a tubing bender a few years ago...but the dies I need for it are really expensive (not to mention the price of chromoly these days  ), so things have been on hold for awhile. No problem...I'm patient.

What about yours - what do you plan on doing besides what you did here with the front? Just mechanical stuff and paint left now?

Ah cool! love to see that roll cage when it's finished.
I also plan to do the rear, I got new left and right panels, and as you can see that's about the other half of the car, the plan is to make him white, well off-white , but really deep/thick painted.
The outside will be totally classic but I will upgrade the suspension with Abarth parts, also disk brakes all around, but not with those bling bling red calipers, just normal black

The engine now has about 15hp (top 95kph) LOL and it will be about 30hp (top about 130kph), using my other Fiat Panda engine which I have to rebuild to fit, they are practically the same, but the Panda engine is running counter clockwise, so I need to change that. the reason is that in the Panda the engine was mounted in the front, so if I mount it just like that it will run very fast backwards (also fun ;-) )

8) those bikes are incredible! Check out the detail on those derailers!
and the fiat is looking good curt! I used to have an old jeep a while back and remember how much fun i used to have working on it. just open the hood and get to work.... not like vehicles now days where you have to remove countless plastic covers and listen to that annoying fasten seatbelt alarm for miles until it finally goes off....
