I've seen the news of their tilera 64 chip at two years ago.
But that time, that is not a general purpose processor but for an embedded apps.

..this is a RISC chip.. basically brings similar limitations like Cell or Cuda : complete redesign & rewriting of code

that is why larabee is so interesting.. it can process x86 instructions too...
