cg can be so damn depressing.
why has learning by doing faults always cost THAT much energy and good mood in cg ?
the last few weeks i've been doing cg nearly all day and night long and it seems always at the point when you think it's done a problem comes up that fucks up the whole load of work.
* * *
it's interesting when having to render out animations especially when you're still in the learning process and have to auto-teach yourself.
great to know realflow meshes don't update any more after having deleted history in maya.
great to know that shake doesn't use pixeloriented but vectororiented paint strokes. so after having touched half the animation in hours of work you find yourself sitting in front of the monitor cursing and having to find a way to overthrow the whole work of two weeks and redo in two days ? having done nearly nothing else for the other classes ?
this is so sad. and after you've learned the lesson ? well. you have no result that you can prove with that you've tried!
i'll write a book with all traps you possibly can fall in when learning cg !!!
