I've got a mac with Windows XP 64 installed and i want to network it to a PC with Windows XP 32.

I've bought a 'Sitecom' wired router and gone through the network setup wizard on each... but i cant see the files on the other computer (on both). The Sitecom people tell me it should work.

Any ideas on whats wrong/how I should do this/or what type of router i should use?

You should be able to get XP64 drivers from the motherboard or NIC manufacturer - depending on which you are using for connectivity. Most hardware companies have a drivers/download site on their web pages. You just need to know the make and model number of the card/MB.

Wouldn't all mac pro NIC manufacturers be the same? Anyway i found this page with the spec for a mac pro:

http://www.pcmall.com/pcmall/shop/detai ... edir=1&des...

There it says that the NIC is: 10/100/1000

Then i found this site for a driver download for this for xp64 here:

http://www.driverslab.com/getdriver/Net ... 10_100_100...

Am i on the right track here or is this completely wrong?
