Can someone be so kind of quick explaining how to combine the alpha channel map created with maxwell and a background image? I know that have to be done in PS or other image program.
Thank you

i usually copy and paste the alpha map in a "new channel" -> alpha channel.
after that you use "load selection" and choose the alpha channel as source.

Hi,

Zoppo is right, but if you're not confident using PS....

Open your alpha file in PS
> select all
> copy

then open your background image file..
>paste (this will put it in as a new layer)
>magic wand (to select the area of the background image you want... uncheck "contiguous" and put the selection range to 255 to make sure you get everything)
>change the highlighted layer to the background one
>copy

then open your render > paste...
