hi there...

just curious how You guys do the texture archiving with the related .mxm files.

You gather it all on a network drive / hd?
anyone working cross-platform ? how do You solve the path problems ?

* * *

are there differences between 3d app users and studio user?

i personally [maya user], i do store my stuff independent of the maya projects in a separate folder on a network drive. the mxms are all sorted in folders like metal, stone, wood, ...
then, each material has it's own name or version number and is in it's special folder, together with the texture files.

how do You handle this ?
