A friend has one, ... and she's a rhino user, but I don't know if or how it works with any 3D app ........ but I'll ask. ;)

She also does a lot of 2D illustration/paint stuff so , ... I think as far as that goes, ... it's the best.

btw: I've tried it in the store, ... couldn't do a damn thing with it .....but the cool factor was way high.

I have one, and use it for drawing with Alias sketchbook pro. I havent used it for any 3d applications though. For digital drawing though it is well worth the price.

I would get one of these if I was going to "sculpt" in 3d. http://www.sensable.com/industries-design-model.htm
I think they cost about the same as a cintiq, but its more for 3d modelling. I used one at a trade show and it was very cool. It gives you force feedback as if you were carving on your model with tools.

I have one... :-D. I use it daily in my work as a retoucher. It is a fantastic product.
I have not tried it with zbrush but with artisan. Basically if it works with an ordinary wacom tablet then it will work with this one as well.

The coolest thing about it is that you can spin the whole screen around like a piece of paper when you draw to get the right angle.
