has anyone an HD projector that costs not too much ? experience with it ?

the official HD res is 1920 x 1200 or something like that so what the heck makes these two formats being called HD ???

1080i, 720p and 1080p
The number stand for the resolution (heigh)
The character for: (i)nterlaced or (p)rogressiv
