You can do much better than that with Maxwell... Much clearer without the regathering splochiness and a much more natural light....

It shouln't...
You set up a studio scene with a bit more light than the necessery and render you could probaly get a frame an hour, there for making this animation about 5 days max...

I don't know how much it took with Vray, I know I can get better results with Maxwell but 5 DAYS!!! So, the only way to make an animation is to leave for holidays? :?

Pirated or not these Russians are doing serious world-class work with these images.
(If they didn't say these were renders, I wouldn't know ... they could have posted them in photo.net for all I care.)
