hehe, these are air filtering plants.

I heard that the first one is a Sansevieria.

and the second one is a Muehlenbeckia complexa(Trian)

the third is Table palm.

the last is Gold Ivy.

They are very cute plants.

Pretty cool, Max.
The sun doesn't seem to move near as much at your latitude as would in my part of the world.
I remember seeing the sun move pretty much sideways in Finland in August. And dip below the horizon from 2-4 am.

Larry: Thanks, it was a first test at timelapse photography so it's not perfect. There's even slight movement of the camera visible due to my poor tripod and camera :( ..yes you're right, the sun appear to move differently across the sky at our various locations on the planet. Quite logical but still neat :)

Koufax: Your new family looks kinda greenish and slim, you gotta feed them more, give them a fatty diet :D

A couple of new shots from today, i went out with my cam in the neighbourhood and snapped these. Maybe not the most exciting stuff but it's organic stuff.. :)

Caution with that Muehlenbeckia, Koufax: she loves climbing and might use the neighbours for a lattice.....
probably stick some sticks in the pot, these will keep her from roaming

Koufax: Thank you! :) yep they ain't too bad..

Adrian: Thanks! :)

Jeff: I agree and i noticed the transluency too as i were about to snap my photo of it, indeed macrophotography rocks. Almost more fun than normal photography :) thanks!

And time again for yet another sunset timelapse, this time it covers 99 minutes and with 1 photo every minute, however i chopped of the almost 100% dark end part of the timelapse. The movie is 7mb and in Quicktime format.

Hey nice experiments Max ! Timelapse introduce an interesting relation to time ! Maybe you could speed it up a bit or take more photos to smooth the movement..

Does your camera have a timelapse function or you do it by hand?

tokiop: Thanks :) yes they were my very first timelaps experiments. Speeding it up would look better if i had much more pics in the sequence, otherwise it just flies by your screen in an instant. But more photos, or maybe shorter time between the pics would be possible. Now i used a minute between them, i have to check how low i can go or if 60 secs between each pic is the minimum on my camera. I'm sure you can do much much better timelapse sequences on a real SLR, i only got a lousy pocketcamera. :(

Btw, i shoot these using the cameras automatic timelapse function.

Some new pics from a short trip i took two days ago :) ..i'm sorry they're so big but not many of you should still be stuck on a 56k (i hope) hehe

Great pictures Max!

btw/ does someone knows a trick to get really close shots in jewelry photography with a 100 mm lense without macro? (...what I question I've done! )
I'm getting mad with it, I just can get part of a ring in focus, and the rest goes out of focus, even using f-stop 32!.

Very nice pictures Tim, nature is gorgeous where ever you are.

@ Max: Missed your last pictures - just Wow! Is there a certain term for the grainy b&w look/style? I like those a lot.
