Max that first sky photo is so clear. 8)

Why can't Studio sky look like this?

Pierre: Good to hear your wifey was pleased with your gifts :) ..and thanks, i'm glad to hear you liked the 1st and last of my photos, i gotta admit i prefer those myself :) your fireplace shot is pretty good, i'd like to see a slightly longer exposure so you get the fiery streaks, but that's just my personal taste for photos like that. The contrast between the bright light fire and the dark surrounding background is good.

Tim: Thanks :) yeap it was a nice clean and pretty physical sky that day. I agree it'd be great if Maxwell's physical sky would be like this. Hopefully soon it will be..

Lud: Pretty small player  i had no idea they were that small.. but wow. Nice compositions and setups you made for these, i have a few ideas i'd like to suggest you mask out the player, invert the mask and convert the background to greyscale and tone it down slightly. Maybe also add some vignetting to frame the subject more. But that's just what i woulda done..

I tried with a longer exposure but the pic was too bright and I was at the minimum aperture...My camera is too limited  but my birthday is coming soon :)

Maximus if you have time feel free to apply that effect to one of my shot if you'd like. I'm glad you did like them!

sandykoufax - Haha thanks mate, I think you'd be more sutable for that job, I used one mainlight one ambient and a blue LED over the top of it, just give it a go ;)

ivox - I know, it's terrible :D
Please take me out for a walk would you?? :D

Jagshemash!
Yesterday while on duty in rural Germany, I had to kill some time in a pub (named "Offbeat") equipped with this wonderful liquid-in-glass-in-"ice" bottle opening device. My first contribution to this thread. Shame for inferior quality, yet that object was nice. Cropped and curved in PS.

Pierre: Ok i see, you already tried that. Hm yes it's not easy shooting teh photos you want when your equipment is so limiting. I hope you'll get a new better camera soon, it'd benefit your photography more :) and your birthday should result in one hehe

Lud: Sure i could give it a try on one or two of your photos to see what i can come up with, but i think you can do that easily :) isn't that the Stanford Dragon carved in wood or something on your second photo  btw, cute chickens

Dexel: Welcome to the photo thread :) but what is that thingy.. a drink ?! it looks huge. Like the Tower of Babylon or something.. :D

Pierre again: Your first one and your last one looks good, i like them :) the one with the cross would probably benefit from being black/white perhaps with a bit of noise added.. but the last one is real nice :) it's almost like you could have it framed on a livingroom wall.

And a photo i took when i were down south in Skåne (south Sweden) and went on a jobinterview there. This one i took down by the sea at a nice location with a beautiful view. Sorry about the somewhat large image..

Lud again: Btw, i did some adjustments to one of your iriver photos to see what it would look like the way i were thinking in my previous post. This is just quickly done so it's no way near perfect but you get the idea :)

Your edited photo below.
