It's starting to look more like a Christmas release, and i'm sure that's a pretty good and accurate guess. However.. as it's just a guess i could be wrong, let's just hope i'm wrong.

Haven't you learned by now that this gets you nowhere? NL will update when they update and they will not tell you anything useful about when it will happen. I'm not saying I agree with it, but that's the pattern. It's the same all over in my experience. Although with some companies it's a bit easier to get some sense of timing, there is apparently something with render engines that precludes all accurate assessment of developmental timelines. I suspect there is some kind of law of physics at work in there somewhere

I know when it comes to software development release dates are a tricky thing. The problem I have is if your going to stick with the "its ready when its ready" development cycle then why post in these forums that the update is almost ready when really its months away. Don't say anything until its actually ready. I also understand that complaining here is pointless so this is my last post on the topic.
