jdp: Whoops! i forgot about it, i'm sorry. But he sure looks like he knows what he's doing with a camera that guy. I'll guess it's a good thing to be compared to him  i'm flattered and thanksful.

Pierre: Thanks! :) these were just experiments with todays dinner hehe

Fernando: Hehe thanks! :D the first one looks like something from outer space.. well kinda. But i wanna eat them! they smell so good i can't wait to throw them in the fryingpan with some butter and spices yum yum!

Thanks again all of you :) you're too kind

wow, nice one max, you're really into macro shots and you're good at it too :)

Here's a photo I took of my new writing desk I weren't too satisfied with. It had lot of gashes and bumps in the wood structure so I took photos of it and sent them to the company which I bought the desk from in hope for a refund. Apart from faulty photos I took this one mostly for the fun of it which I kind of liked.

Here's a photo I took of my new writing desk I weren't too satisfied with, a lot of gashes and bumps all over it. This one is one out of seven shots which happened to be the flawless one I sent them as refs :) so this is a photos for my reclaim.
Wow  Not good for writing but beautiful photo.

Well I have been away for a while...... and you don't need to say "AAAAG!!! HE IS BACK" as I promise to not be so prolific with my photo posts.
Max Cool and yummy, some great mushroom macros. It is the season for Mushroom collecting in France and this season is proving to be a cracker, perfect conditions, some serious wars going on in some places
ludenhud I like your macro desk shot, there are some interesting colours.

Here are some of the many I took while participating in the St Tropez Classic Regatta

Lud: Thanks :) yep it seems i got stuck in this macroshooting subject. It's fun, can't help it.. interestingly nice surface you captured there, it looks like those old vinylrecords :) it certainly don't look like the desk it is which is a good thing.

Edwin: Welcome back! :) you been away for a while.. ah yes my mushrooms again, btw thanks! :) it sure is the perfect season now to pick them outdoors, although this one i picked at the local grocerystore. Your first and second shots are great!! the first one's colorscheme and light makes it a pleasure to look at, and the second one is a good action photo.

Pierre Caron - My formulation was under all critic and if you weren't the one making a complaint about it I'm glad someone (I) did :D cheers

This is just a funny photo I took of the kitchen cat while I was making late dinner this evening. He must have liked the warm surface on top of the coffee maker but damn he looks guilty of doing something wrong :)

Lud: That looks like the Coffemachine & Catwarmer 2006 Limited Edition you got there  cooool! but i guess it's good to have "Scratchy" at the coffeemachine if you had too much coffee in a day..

The weather was sunny and nice here today so i took a walk in the forest near where i live, ofcourse the good old camera came along on the walk and here's a couple of shots.. the mushroom theme may be pretty boring with dull compositions and i shot pics like this before as most of you already know but there ain't alot to photograph in a forest so i'm sorry guys.

WOW, this thread is alive and well !

Great images (inspiration) from a lot of people here. Max started something good !

Hey Max, how about petitioning NextLimit, (tom, victor ...) to open a new usergroup and name it "Maxwell Photography Group" or similar where you can be the moderator.

I suppose practicing photography like this is an awesome way to hone our Maxwell skills (photo composition) as well.

Thanks so much Thomas  it seems the thread survived until page 50 which is pretty good, alot better than i first thought. At first i thought that "this will only run for 2 pages then die" but i couldn't been more wrong :)

Everybody been doing a great job contributing with some awesome photos to this and made it into a resourceful place and a place to learn more about photography and composition and to just have fun in.

Hm, a usergroup.. maybe, it sounds very interesting but if it would take too much attention from Maxwell itself then it could be bad. But Thomas i'm still a newbie at photography, there are real professional photographers who been doing this stuff commercially for years, they should moderate such a place.

You're right about that learning photography and learning to "see" that way helps alot when you're working with Maxwell as it's so close. You get a much better understanding of how it all works and what relates to what and how..

Keep on photographing everybody, we got atleast 50 more pages to fill.. ;)
