Espen: Hehe pretty colors and reflections there, you should try to reproduce them in 3d and see if you can get a similar result :) i'm glad to hear you too got started with macrophotography, it's great fun isn't it.

Nik: The second photo is a good one, me likes.. :)

Glyptic: You got yourself a tiger in the tree there, he looks kinda ..dagerous :D like "dare to come closer and i shred you to pieces with these sharp claws of mine".

Took this one today by the harbour..

Hey Max,
Yeah, this is one of John Lee's games. "Come close and I'll nail you". Out of the tree he's a sweetie.

Nice shot of that mast. You might want to check your meshing though. There is a bit of a bump to it. Did you triangulate before exporting from the modeler? :)

cheers,
larry

ps I really like your clay render submissions. And thanks for sharing your texturing expertise.

Pierre Nice panorama what software did you stitch it with
Is that taken near Stellenbosh in the wine lands? It looks like the South Easter blowing, with the clouds beginning to pour over the Mountains. Or is that more towards the Eastern Cape?
Look at that clear sky! I miss that place, I remember some days if you looked strait up into the sky, was so clear, it was really dark dark blue.
Here are a few I took a few years back.
This one taken about 5.15am at Mount ECO Game park in the Cape

Thanks, I did it with AutoPano Pro...great software...it does everything automaticaly...it can even browse a folder searching photos that can make a panorama when put together.
This panorama was actually made from 5 photos I took near Oudtshoorn.
The coast between Capetown and Port Elizabeth is really amazing as we can see on your photos.
Talking about blue sky, have a look at this one

And even with clouds it's beautiful...

No it's not Mandelieu Airport you are in the wrong Hemisphere it is at the Ostrich Farm south of Cape Town on the Cape Peninsula 34°15'8.74"S
18°27'2.40"E The Landing spot was just next to the pond. The field across the driveway had a couple of real Big birds in them can you spot them?

Glyptic: Hehe, that's not a mast :) that's part of a flag on the ground. Just a trickshot, sorry about that but i had to.. :D (meshing was set a bit low as you can see).

Pierre: That looks like a big panorama photo

Espen: Good looking photos, i like the 1st and 2nd one's. :)

Pierre (again): Second photo.. it's very pretty!

I ran some experiments, macro as always (sorry) as i wanted to try some things.. so there's nothing really special about these experimental shots.

Feel free to like them or dislike them :D

Macro Maximus...... the "The moon in the spoon" "is nothing really special" ........NOT!...... I beg to differ..... and the titel really rounds it off.
Well! focusing on MACRO's.... we zoom in on a 'glebe digital' point of view....
