ouchh... I'm still looking to find the big red button named "get the job done" in my keyboard: I suppose it must be there cause my boss believe doing 3d is so easy, powerful and fast (while he's asking someone else why the notebook not connected to the net doesn't download the mail...) :)

yeah, it's hard to believe that most of the architects (here in Italy) are so lame about IT... but that's my experience as well :?

I had a customer who brought me a jpeg he had shot with a digital camera, once I opened it up on my computer he didn't understand why I couldn't rotate object shown in the picture, that way, I wouldn't need to 'waste time' modelling it! :D

Ask him to rotate the object "that way" from the picture without modeling it!

I cannot imagine the fuses I would blow at the mere contemplation of such a suggestion.

Time to take a long walk! :D

i know an architect that was trying to kill a fly on my monitor with his finger.
The problem is that it wasn't a fly, it was the mouse pointer.

Just to come back to our initial subject :) ,

I would like to say that what troubles me with NL and Maxwell, is that many new and older wishes that we read in the forum should be already a part of the application even before it's first release.
Especially the ones referring to Studio's workflow and capabilities.
I would very much like to know how many new customers bought Maxwell because NL added studio. I think, not many.
So, we got an incomplete application with big workflow problems and a less features than our 3D apps.
I would prefer to have a fully working and fully featured plugin for MAX, AutoCAD and Revit and take advantage of their modeling and texturing tools. The Studio will always be a nice thing to have but they had to wait...
