I had all my 3d work and all my photograps on there, 2 gigs of photos lost and over 10 gigs of work related and personal projects all gone :( i give up this shit now, so damn tired of it all.

Make sure it's not your motherboard. Take it and plug it into a friend's computer.

Beautiful shots Daros. I look forward to seeing more.
The color of the terrain is incredible.
Is there a shortage of jewelry designers in Italy by any chance?
I could be talked into living in a place like that.

Frances: I doubt it's the motherboard, all evidence points towards the hdd. But i will investigate it further more at the computer repair shop with their tools and hardware. They will be able to help me out with this. Thanks for your tip.

Daros: Very nice photos and landscapes in that area  wowiee! i especially like the 1st, 4th and 6th shot. They have a pleasent light and range of colors in them.

I had this last photo left in my camera from yesterday, this one was supposed to be scrapped due to it's "brainy" look, but i post it anyways. Feel free to either like it or hate it. I don't like this shot very much.

It's really nice too :) It's got some reflections on it, looks a bit creepy, but that's what makes it interesting. Would look better I think if you rotate 90° counter clockwise.

Thanks Mihai :) but i'm not happy with that shot, which is why it ended up in the trashbin, the strong highlights due to it's "wetness" ruined the shot, and the angle, the light and those shadows. It didn't fit in with the rest of the shots in the mushroom series. But that's my personal opintion.

I showed that to some friends and they asked me if i photographed my brain :D it kinda looks like that...

More photos will come later when there's anything worth shooting..

Throwing in a late night photo before i hit the sack, this is a normal swedish krona (1 skr), macro with subject positioned 10mm above a piece of paper on a table, scene lit with a single desklamp in a dark room. Colors toned down a bit in Photoshop and resolution reduced some.

You're right it's a music player with nifty features.
And it's a shoot I took for a review I wrote for these puppies.

If this thread ended today with no other pictures, posts and commentary added, .....that'd be a great one to end it on. I don't know why, ....but it has poetic irony. Not to mention the rounding off to a perfect 40 pages. :)

But it's not going to end with that pic, ......so forget that thought entirely. :P

Carry on ........
