Big letters.. hehe.. not too impressed Yanada.... sorry.. I remember mine rendered in about 10 min. with Maxwell 1.7.... and it looks like I have far more blades.. no..?

yep Great patch of grass Hervé,

off-course Maxwell is better except if you don't mind the whole "you can not have instances intersecting instances, intersecting geometry, instances and clipmaps"...

Also I'm not saying that modo is better, modo is not a dedicated rendering app as maxwell...BUT what bothers me the most is that even open-source apps have start competing with maxwell and I pay $1000 per license, so I do expect more and better features ...

Do you have to buy extra nodes for network rendering with Microstation? is there any limitations?
Or is same as Modo 1 licensed for network rendering on up to 50 workstations.

There is currently no other possibilities than using full licenses for each node, but I think it's only a matter of time and we will see better solutions for this. Microstation is extremely expensive...

two more close-up tests using Luxology render, last one I've used FUR to create droplets. Not a perfect method, but extremely simple - no droplet modeling
