Wow fellows, I've never seen download numbers that big.

If is not intrusive, can someone tell me how much do you pay for one of those impresive connections?

I think about $30-$40 a month for internet.
We get our digital cable, phone, and internet from them, so we get a package deal.
It's cool to download 500 mb files in a few minutes...

Well, the whole Spain has old installations, but there's places like the one I'm living right now (Marbella, Malaga) that is almost prehistoric. It's expensive, bad supported and boring (we can even wait 50 or 60 days to receive the adsl kit... )

It's really hard to have any advantage with a fast connection. The internet seems overloaded with downloading so there is not much speed to be distributed. The only fast places where I download from are Microsoft's servers and Rapidshare (about 4 MB/s). Other then that it's usually "only" about 250-350 KB/s.
