Hi Mihai,
I saw Cyndi L on TV a couple of weeks ago. She is doing very well, still performing. Living in the NYC area. She may have been involved in a stage show of some kind. I forget.
I remember when she and Madonna came out close to the same time. I wondered if the genius singer/songwriter would be more famous, or the vampy tramp. The latter still enjoys p-ssing off the Pope.
The lead singer of Flock of Seagulls lives on a sailboat in south Florida and still tours when he feels like it. He was on TV a year or so ago. His brother, also in the band, is an electrical engineer or something like that here in the States.
Lene Lovich I don't think performs anymore. She's from Detroit and had to go to London to get famous.
Le Cure was here in DC quite a while ago, with le bad attitude according to reviews. Something like Elton John at her worst (saw him in 1971 when he toured only with bass and drums, and wore blue jeans. Great show.)
