Driving this one myself :)

Sorry for OT
Nope, my friend do not drive it on track even though it would be something now that he finally got the external wastegate up and running. It should be all good for 400bhp, and he have nothing bad to say about the coilovers what I've heard of. They are not too hard even though they are up to max in hardness. They're comfortable in comparison to Öhlins coilovers, even though the perform a lot better I think :D

Those images of yours didn't work that well...

Lovely shots Ludenhud, very rich colors. I heard that's the lens you just got to have as a Nikon owner.

Great shots Ludenhud, Andre, and Pwrdesign; nice lens you have there Ludenhud, I really love the NYC photo you took. Speaking of new equipment, have you guys had any experience with medium format film cameras? I'm a few hundred away from having a Hasselblad 500cm and I was curious if any of you worked in film. I'm looking forward to not having to use my trigger-happy processing tendencies.

Hey Killian!

I've been using a Hasselblad 500C for abut 10 years, just started to use a digital system for a few years ago when I started to take photos professional for my job.

And that's because I got to buy the 1DsMKII
If you compare a Hasselblad 500C to a simple digital system camera the hasselblad is ages better in all ways (when you look at image quality).

Then there are of course the economical part, that you have to process the film. Though I just had my films processed, and then I bought a Epson Perfection Photo 4900, and scanned my dias and negatives.

I loved everything with my Hasselblad and I'm abit sad that I sold it.

I've got some photos at: www.patrikrosen.com

Wow, you have some tremendous photos in that blad gallery man. I absolutely love the porsche 356 photos, so classy.

Thanks for sharing your setup, it's very helpful because I was, in fact, going to buy either the epson 4900 or the v750 that has a higher resolution scan and a wet mounting plate to reduce dust, but I don't know if it would be really necessary to get that much more detail in my pics because I don't plan on printing big. I'm leaning more towards the 4900 using slide film, I hear they get better quality scans using slides.

Edit: the 4900 is discontinued, I really meant to say the 4490.

The 4490 has Digital Ice, a great dust removal feature, that works like a charm!

One question regarding optics, i hope you can help:

If i, being shortsighted, were to look through the viewfinder of an SLR without my glasses on, would i mis-focus the shot (for the sensor) since my eyes need a corrective factor?

Thanks.

Most if not all DSLR cameras have a dioptic adjustment wheel on the viewfinder so as long as your vision isnt horrible you should be able to adjust it to your eyes

So it does matter, thought so. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have like -2.75, that's rather tame.
