it will only work within the Luxology Render engine. I've done all my tests using Microstation btw.

would be nice if Next Limit could add grass/fur marterials. This grass material is assigned to a simple rectangular surface and rendered with Luxology Render:

The grass is nice, but would it be useful on a larger scale?
(The DOF looks horrible)

the wire is just a rectangle (2 triangles)
The render time without dof is just a few minutes, but with dof its an hour or so - even for this low res DOF. Much quicker to do the dof in PS.

It is faster in PS especially if you use DOF Pro. Nice job Kurt.

Yes but Defontaine is good with ANY software he's using... be it Maya.. Modo... whatever...

wow. the grass looks amazing. the lighting, texture, structure etc is perfect. but the dof really sucks

INDEED Herve. My Point Exactly.

The bottom line is if you are a good artists You can get the result you after with most integrated renderers like modo's or mentalRay inside Max, XSI, Maya etc.
