How would one not take statements like that personally?
Well, you gotta be able to seperate the personal from the professional side of things, no matter how difficult it is.

I have no idea what happened, but the mods have a real tight situation - on one side they've got hundreds of customers rabid for any piece of information, and on the other side they've got the nda which often prevents them from being able to give out any info they could (or probably would like to) disclose. So its tough, and i think his posts on Rhino pointed out that difficulty.

Anyhows i know nothing 'bout it but I hope Mr. An will be back soon I miss all those nano ray bending quantum physics shock radiometric fresnel black matter torture bending tests!! :)

Many thanks to all friendly comments as well as your words of support and encouragment. I do appreciate it and it has been a pleasure meeting many of you in this forum.

My departure has nothing to do with user comments or attitudes, it is a personal matter bewteen me and N.L. In a way the Rhino post was also an exit speech of sorts (for me everything starts and ends in Rhino). I wish you all the best and hope things to turn out with success for both Maxwell, NL and ultimately the users of this great software.

Best regards,
Thomas

hello Thomas,
i don`t want you have to answer if you don`t want to, but is that because of your post about maxwell and NL to rhino users? will you be here on this forum (as an regular user not moderator) or you want to end here? i know, you made a lot for us maxwell users and also for NL because we are their customers. i also know that you should earn some money for something because life is for free but living not. anyway it would be very very nice of you if you will stay here with us... THANKS A LOT

Good Luck for the future Thomas - hope you come back some time in the future.

Your tips and tutorials were often over my head but they allowed me to see what is possible. Thanks for those snatched glimpses.

Regards

Jonathan

Thomas An. was one of the main reasons I embraced this software. His precise approach, great tutorials and in depth posts convinced me that Maxwell was exactly what we were looking for. Never biased, no fan boy, no applause at every (sometimes mediocre) rendering, but an almost scientific approach to get the max out of the software.
