Hello guys
I'm posting this into this off-topic section, as it is not maxwell-related.
A customer wanted to have walk through one of his building in real time. It doesn't have to be looking great, but with textures and some kind of shading I guess :)
Is there any software that can do this?
I've seen some tests years ago with the unreal engine, but is there any software specially designed for that, which simply can import textured 3d models from other programs (rhino in my case)?
Thanks for any hints

you could do it from within rhino with bakeAIR and walkabout mode..
With BakeAir, RhinoAir allows shading in a scene to be rendered or “baked” to texture maps. Baked maps can used as textures for realtime rendering in Rhino or with an exported VRML file. With Air 11 and RhinoAir 4, shading results can also be stored as vertex data of a mesh (with user-specified tessellation density). Baked meshes can be used for realtime viewing in Rhino or to accelerate re-rendering with Air.

ouch! ...last time i checked the prices it was something like 1500€. And this was aldready incredible because they started with 800€ for v1... so this is two times a 100% price increase in two years... great customer care...

Thanks for all the inputs. I'll have some time until I've checked out all of those which turns out to be less easy then I was hoping for.
So far most of the software offers a real-time fly-through mode, but not a real walk-through (with collision and gravity). But I haven't checked out all of your answers yet. The Cryengine sounds pretty promising, but I think you'd need to either find another software to walk in your scenes or write one yourself :)
