I did certainly notice that. The video seems more a testament to his After Effects and Premiere talent than his rendering talent which surprised me. Nevertheless, the software has produced some wonderful images here and elsewhere.

You should watch the exeter shot making of the "naked" render that comes out of vray in this scene isnt all that.
Romans Color Grading and other Postproduction technique/effects make his shots what they are.

Other than that I cant really say too much about archviz /w maxwell or vray since I mostly do product shots.

Well really though, even at pixar in the movie biz, the final renders out of the 3D software look mediocre at best. It's the compositors and post production that really make things come together. So this is a true example of a talented person doing a wide variety of 'specialty' tasks.

The music reminds me of gattaca or something.

same here, for me gattaca inspiration. but most of the scenes are empty need some props and cars

in an interview said: "Although all the editing, sequencing and mastering is mine, the original composition by Michael Nyman, so the process was "transcribing" the score to DAW and start working from there."
