I'd like to create this (was done in 3d Studio) except I haven't got 3d Studio. Does anyone know how I can create, or where I can get human body parts (probably hands) that I can render in wireframe?

Is there a function in 3d Studio whereby you can render out as a wireframe or would those be screen grabs?

I've got Cinema 4d if that's any use.

you have meg and otto in cinema 4d for the body parts and there used to be a plugin for rendering wires in c4d i shall try to remember which one it was and if it will work on the newer c4d versions

You can also try MakeHuman for the meshes, if the body parts don't need to be too detailed.

Ok thanks to both of you.

I can render the models in Poser no problem.... just need to create the right kind of 3d model. The Poser models don't have enough Polygons and therefore the hidden line/mesh render doesn't look as dense as that image above.

I can't install that software for some reason. I get an error.

You could grab a copy of Daz Studio also, it includes Victoria and some other stuff. The app is ofcourse free from daz.com

Take your low poly mesh and subdivide to your heart's content. BTW, that image you posted doesn't look like a normal poly mesh, I'd like to know how it was made!

Yeah maybe it's some kind of texture map.

To me it looks like one of those 3d scanned objects. They have these very uniform tight meshes.

Nah, it's done in 3ds Max using a standard human model. That's all I know.

Any 3ds Max users out there know how this is done????
