I am finally putting my list together to upgrade to quad core and decided to go with an Intel chip this time, cuz based on the benchwell results they seem to be faster than the AMD Phenom's.

Anyhow, I am browsing newegg's mobo section for a few days now but can't make up my mind which mobo to pick. So I was wondering if anyone uses the LGA 775 socket, which board they have/recommend?

Ideally I'd be interested in if someone is running it for a few months, just to know the board is stable.

I am NOT interested in OC'ing and special cooling.

Thanks!

if you are looking for a workstation board, i would really wait for the new x58 chipset from intel for nehalem (aka. core i7).
they are comming out just now (intel/ausu/msi/etc.)
triple channel ddr3 ram is fast!

Yeah, right. Who am I? A millionaire?

Anyhow. I just put it together. I am running 4 cores, baby!!! AHHH YEAH! I am pretty happy with it.

Used to have the AMD 4800+ x2 (2.4G). I did the Benchwell test with it around 45 minutes. Now it was 17.5! Now Maxwell is more enjoyable to use :-) And it's more silent then the AMD was.

BTW, I got the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R. Works pretty good for me so far (...which is what... maybe 5 hours so far :-)
