Anyone here from Paris who happens to have a few photos of the Sacre Coeur Basilica, and in particular a few ones showing the sides of the building?

I´m looking for some reference images for my new personal project, but there doesn´t seem to be any showing the sides on Google. :(

Any help, or tips of where to find images are highly appreciated. :)

I don't know where you have searched for images of this structure, but i'll post my suggestions anyways..

- Flickr seems to have lots of photos of this structure.
- Google Earth got some photos
- photo.net
- Any other public photography sites similar to the above.

And taken from Google Earth, a topview shot of the structure and the surrounding area. If you haven't checked there yet.

Btw, there's apparently a Sacré-Cour located in Canada.

Thanks a lot Max.

I´ve mainly seached through Google. Problem is, most shots are taken from the front. I have a few bits and pieces of the side views, but most of the stuff is taken from odd angles.

You have some good suggestions though. I´ll go through these pages and see what i can find.

That top view image was excellent btw. Never thought of using Google Earth. :)

Yeah, there seem to be a few Sacre Coeurs out there.

You're welcome, hope you find something useful amongst those sites and others.. from what i can see it's not a place where a lot of people seem to photograph, they mostly visit it. A bit odd..

Btw, also search on tourist sites & travelagency sites. Such sites that recommends visitations there, they can often have photos of the place showing it. You may be able to extract valuable info from such sources.

Something more here...

Another source of referencematerial is Youtube, here you 'could' be able to extract even further info from the videos people shot at the location.

Thanks man.

I actually contacted the information at the basilica, asking if there were any plans or similar available and got directed to the "Archives historiques" office. They seem to be on vacation though.

Worst case scenario, i´ll have to take a weekend in Paris and shot the stuff myself. :)
