I use rhino, and what I lack is:

Shelling - in rhino, no go. You need solidwroks for that.

Parametrics - no go also, just jump into solidwroks. The new version is bringing construction history, wich is a great imrpovement but is not parametric modelling.

Subdivision surfaces - tsplines is bringing it in. I used to do the work in Maya and export to rhino/solidworks for further detailing.

Rendering/texture placement - also very poor until V3. There is already a lot of work that way and V4 will be just fine

Displacement - like glypticmax said it's a good helper also, I have Air (a renderman compatible renderer) in rhino.
