I recently upgraded to 4.2.0.2. When I try to load an asset reference in the scene it displays fine, but no uv coordinates are imported. I tried this both with obj and fbx. The UVs are definitely there - if I import the files in other software they show up. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated.

Hello Andrew,

The Asset Reference object comes in with the UVs locked. You cannot assign another UV set to the object. You can play with the tiling, offset and rotation of the textures of the assigned materials but the more comfortable way of doing this would be in your modelling app. The fun of the asset reference is that every time you export it, it is updated in Studio, so you can set native materials onto your model and use basic textures and then fine-tune them in Studio.

Have tried to launch a render in Fire to check if the textures are correctly placed?
