And if you remove that material mentioned in the logs? Does it have any textures? Have you tried opening that MXM with MXED to see if all the textures are found for it?

yes it did it was a misplacement of a material thanks for the help

How come if a link to a texture or material is missing or corrupted. why wont maxwell render? and why would it not just give a warning of a broken link and render with a default material. But on the other hand I don't know to what use that would be

I think it's pretty standard that a renderer doesn't render if any assets (textures aren't the only assets) are missing.
