Everything related to Maxwell Render and general stuff that doesn't fit in other categories.

It's quite possible that there might not be someone here who has a similar setup as me or may not be familiar with the software that I'm using.

I am attempting to activate Maxwell Render public beta on my iMac which is running Parallels Desktop which allows me to run the latest version of Windows 10.
I also have a copy of the Mac version of Maxwell Render V4 installed within the latest version of the Mac OS - Sierra so I realize that that may be causing a conflict with the RLM license server.

Any suggestions or helpful feedback to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Parallels is a virtual machine and the RLM License Server does not serve licenses in virtual machines by default. In order to allow for that you will need a special license unlocked for virtual machines. Currently, when generating new licenses in the portal, you can choose to enable them for VM, but if the license has already been generated, you have to contact our support department to have it modified. Just let them know which licenses you want to enable for virtual machine.

Best regards,
Fernando
