Running OS X on a macbook pro intel core duo.
No way to let it work, tried the following things:
-single layer, map into the transmittance channel, Nd 1, roughness 100, attenuation distance 100m
-2 weighted layers with inverted map, first one with roughness to 100, second one Nd 1, roughness 0, attenuation distance 100m
The only way to let it work is to set the maximum white value to 254. A value of 255 (either coming from a bitmap or from direct value) causes mxed to freeze.
