Has anyone got any suggestions as to why the osx maxwell is much slower on my machine.

imac 24'' core 2 duo using the speed test scene on both

under os x i get a benchmark of around 20

under xp (bootcamp) i get a benchmark of around 60, which is what other users have posted as getting under os x.

-whats going on? both done using maxwell 1.1

any help would be great

are you sure you are using the UB version ?

It only came out a few weeks ago.

The Cinemaxwell plug-in only works with PPC, since there is no UB version until now.

But, MXCL, the renderer is UB, so no speed loss.

both versions are definatly 1.1 all others have been deleted from computer. Really stuck!

I've re-installed, cleared, deleted, started again...all that crap.

-and still get a crippled mac version. NL - no suggestions?
