I can launch MXStudio no problem. However, if I click the "Render Scene" button, nothing happens. If I try launching the "Maxwell" app directly, it bounces in the dock a couple of times then closes. Anyone else having this problem?

Try this: 1. save mxs and close studio. 2. double-click on the .mxs file, it should open in maxwell then. Helps with me though...

...Just read another thread about the G4 problem (as described above). That explains it.

I also find that MXCL will not launch from within Studio if I disable "low priority" rendering in the Render Options window within studio. This is on a Dual 1.25 G4 under 10.4.4. Reenabling "low priority" permits MXCL to launch from within studio - for me at least.

I find that you can also drag and drop a ".MXS" file onto the Maxwell app (MXCL) and it will open and start rendering.
