I use a Powerbook G4 1.67GHz. RC5 don't run on my Laptop. I have always a crash!!!

I have the same problems as the other G4 user!!!!

1 I start mxstudio
2 opens the studio window that goes in the dock at once
3 maxwell icon bounces in the dock end the application crashes!!!!

And where are the new Plugins for RC5 OSX????

Same here, dual 1,25....i felt something would be bad when from NL the mail said "...runs smoothly here on our G5s...".
when you mean reading between the lines...

i guess it is because of that 64bit stuff...at least that means that MW uses the full potentialiyies of G5s!

Im shore NL have said its only 32bit right now

We will support native 64-bit runtime in both Linux and Windows. We are not far from it.

It is just unfair then! Well...i wouldn't be able to imagine my life without the wait for maxwell...maybe it is better this way!

Yep, both mxstudio and maxwell are non-functional on my Powerbook G4 as well.

mxstudio:
1. Installed per instructions
2. Double-clicked mxstudio
3. mxstudio icon appears in dock
4. mxstudio window appears and immediately minimizes to the dock
5. mxstudio splash screen appears
6. mxstudio splash screen disappears
7. MacOS X crash reporter appears

maxwell:
1. drag-and-drop or double-click .mxs file to maxwell (worked with beta)
2. maxwell appears briefly in dock and disappears, nothing else

I've sent the contents of the mxstudio crash log to NL via email. If anyone is interested I'll post it here as well.

It starts on my G5 but is unusable after I import a .3ds

Just a few small quick questions about Mac version now..

- Is the G5 version working for you ?
- Have you got a word yet on when the G4 version is coming ?
- Are the plugins up to date for Mac so you can use RC5 ?

And i don't speak Spanish so i can't read the above statement.
Sorry for all these questions but i'm just curious to if you all got your release by now and if it works. I'm not trying to stir up any emotions or upsetting anyone, just asking outta curiousity and interest now.
