does anybody have the license.DAT file ??? I only got the e-mail from NextLimit where it says i shall create a txt file with the lines they sent me.

Did i miss something ??

you got it probably shortly before the first RC windows release by email. in case you registered later, i do not know. maybe search your HD for it... ?

btw. if you put this file into the main maxwell folder, registration is automatic, at least in my case - very smooth

i think you should check the ownership and permisions, i had the same problem with the beta sometime ago...check that, mybe it's the same with the rc5.

studio and maxwell cl are running fine here, but i wonder if there are any plugin updates yet? goncalo, victor put into the announcement that it is for 10.3.9, too... just read it!

I found the DAT file from the RC1 email... but tried it and it still didn't work.

Then I tried deleting the Maxwell folder and unstuffing it again... which oddly enough yielded an empty "Maxwell" folder. I'm suspecting my problems are due to a corrupt download (which I did on my XP box).

I am downloading the installer again directly to my Mac.

Mr. Gog, what should the permissions be (and for which files)?

It's been so long since the last Mac update that I'd forgotten about the licensing grief.

I have a license dat for RC sent by Maya 2nd Dec 05 that doesn't work.

G4 1.25Ghz dp, 2GB 4*250GB, 0SX 10.3.9.

Here we go again.
I redownloaded the file, followed the proper procedures. Same results. Crashing Studio. Disappearing MXCL.

Ownership and Permissions are all set read-write for me.

Any other ideas?
