I got this email Last night 11:56 (irish time - 12:56 CET) from Nextlimit.

"Dear Maxwell Friends,

We’ve just uploaded Maxwell Render V1.0 Release Candidate 5 (RC5) for Windows. The Mac OSX version will be ready in the next 24 hours.
The Linux version will follow soon."

does anybody have the license.DAT file ??? I only got the e-mail from NextLimit where it says i shall create a txt file with the lines they sent me.

Did i miss something ??

I downloaded, followed the instructions, and neither Studio or MXCL will launch. Yes, I removed Maxwell from my system and emptied the trash. Yes I unstuffed the .Sit and placed the whole folder in the Applications folder. Yes, I logged out and back in again. Yes I placed the license.txt file into the proper location within the package.

MXCL bounces once in my dock and disappears. No error message.
Maxwell Studio starts to launch, a dark-grey window (what looks like the working environment of Studio) opens for a second and immediately minimizes itself to the dock while the Maxwell Studio splash screen shows... Then the whole thing crashes.

Anyone else getting this?

studio and maxwell cl are running fine here! EDIT: ok, there is a plugin update announced 'for the next hours'

goncalo, victor put into the announcement that it is for 10.3.9, too... just read it!
