deleted all maxwell related stuff... again a reinstall... still won't open... grrrrr...

Open /Applications/Utilities/Console and watch the messages that appear in Console main window while maxwell is trying to start.

ok.. me stupid, i used the password from the mail not the serial number... but i would have expected it to say "wrong serial"...
