hey:
I curently use ubuntu linux 5.10 and almost everything I get I get from synaptic I am wondering if when RC1 comes on friday(?) I have to remove maxwell and go trough the reinstallation from scratch or if there is a way to just update.

I also use kubuntu so if you could let me know how thing go I think I would rather wait and see what other say or do before I upgrade.

Might help if you told us how you installed it, looks like RC1 for linux might be a little bit more of a wait anyways

PS: apt-get is a debian based updating command line app, synaptic is just a gui front end.
