Where I find MR 1.2.2 Beta for Mac??? Help me, Please!!!

I've just bought and downloaded today but my version says 1.033

Is there really a 1.2.2?

Where is it you are seeing the 1.033 - is it in the plugin or is it in the console when running Maxwell? BTW what plugin are you using?

When Maxwell starts up you should see in the console: MAXWELL Engine version 1_2_2a_beta

Hi Matthew

It's when I get info on the Maxwell app. I can't look in the console because it quits instantly when I launch but, as I said, I've only downloaded this afternoon and I've barely glanced at the manual so I intend to do some studying before I start asking why this or that happens. I did edit the license.txt properly but if there is a new user faq or gotcha list anywhere I'd appreciate a link.

I'm mainly intending to use the Cinema 4d plug, though I do have FormZ and Maya if one of those would be better. Thanks

Its ok and normal it quits instanly - IS LIKE THAT - mine is the same
You just gona see

So where you see beta 1,033?

Inside cinema 4d you setup your scene and attribute the tags to objects materials, then setup environment in Maxwell plugin inside cinema 4d... then press render and show up the maxwell application, at that moment it not quits and there you will see beta 1_2_2a

Thanks Goncalo, I'm running now. I managed to find a tip from somebody saying make sure there's only one copy on system, clean all caches and reboot. I had the G5 version and G4 (to install on my PB at home) so I stuffed that and did as specified and now it seems to work. And console does indeed say 1.2.2
