I've started rendering yesterday night:
Code: Select all
znouza@ipd:$ time bin/mxcl -mxs:flakon.mxs -res:1280x1000 -time:2000 -th:4 -o:/home/znouza/public_html/flakon.jpg
Code: Select all

and stopped todays morning. See the time and sampling level reached, with real execution time. If I run the same MXS on my p4 box, all is ok.

We are working to figure out why tha time is not being well calculated on unix platforms.
Hi Pablo,

but this is not time issue. Situation: 4proc xeon, render started, but after 487min .. is reached sampling level 6 only.

At the moment i'm using the sampling level to control the render time, is not as exact as render time, but for me is working.
I don't get this horrible results, i'll tryyour mxs file as soon as possible on my linux box.
fine.
