no problem, mattia, the many threads are indeed very confusing to navigate - it's already a jungle ... i wish someone from NL could moderate and answer the many questions in the OSX area...

definitely, the studio interface needs so many fixes... someone at NL at this point should care about the interface design. look at the generally much too dark design, for example. instead of using black type they could use a lighter shade of gray. also, the typesize seems too big in most dialogs (as well as microscopic in others...). they should also provide a way to navigate confortably for those without a three button mouse - many mac users don't have them.

Well, I agree about anything else, but I think that though a 3-button mouse
should not be a requirement, It pretty hard to work in most 3D-apps without one...

What I've always done is set my mouse buttons for expose functions, which, as it turn out, has been really useful for the disappearing palettes in RC5.

CMD+SHIFT+~ toggles through all of the opened windows, bringing each of the ones sitting behind the main work area forward, one at a time. I have found that if a window selection is grayed out in the drop-down menu bar (say I want to open the material browser and it is grayed out in the drop-down "Window" menu) it means that it is open already but not visible because it is hidden behind the main work area. Using CMD+SHIFT+~ will bring it forward. Once you close that particular floating window, its place on the drop-down menu will be active again and available for selection.
