I'm trying to render an assembly, a simple one with two knobs with knurls on.
I have watched Juan's videos very carefully, 20 or so times.
After applying the solidworks texture to a face in the part file, I can see the texture on the part in the assemby, after creating maxwell material (metal cobalt). It doesn't show the bump map when rendering the assembly.
If I apply a texture to the same part within the assembly and apply it at a part level or assembly level I can see the texture but the scale is totaly stuffed up (About 1000x too large This is a SolidWorks Bug!)So I can't even test it as a bump map if I apply the texture in the assembly.
In Juan's videos, they seem to apply there but he's rendering in a part not an assembly, maybe it only works when rendering in parts rather than assemblies?
If SolidWorks 2006 has a some way of scaling textures other than that slider in the texture window could someone let me know?
Or if I'm a complete idiot please let me know?
Regards
