I've posted this issue in the Rhino forum, but the same occurs in Solidworks with MW.

Making a square plane emitter, then renderin MW - Maxwell states 2 triangles. Even though the emitter is square, it is breaking up the surface into triangles.

I've read that avoiding triangles in the emitters helps with noise and render times, so is there a way to solve this??

Does MW force everything into triangular meshes? :?
