Juan,

On trying to render a file the Maxwell render command prompt window informs me "Maxwell internal error detected"

Not sure what's causing the problem, plugin, mxcl or studio. I can email the MXS file if your interested.

[Edit] Figured out how to fix it, for some reason the plugin or studio created an object with the suffix "instance" after deleting this the problem disapeared. Have no idea what this "instance" object was.

Hello John,

As you say, instances are not supported yet in the render. It will be supported very soon. SW pluign can not create instances, you must have done it into Studio ( right mouse button in an object -> create Instance ). Instances are very useful to get less memory when you have a lot of similar objects in the scene. For example you want to put in your scene one million of teapots, just create one and make 1 million instances, each one has its own position/rotation/scale but all the instances are refered to the first object. It wastes nothing in comparison with having 1million of separate objets.

Regards,

Juan

DOH!!

Didn't notice that "instance" thing in the menu, must have pressed it by accident.

So, is this a known issue?
