NOT OK - LoadLibrary ("Maxwell2007.dll2) failed - the specified procedure could not be found.

However Maxwell2007.dll is there in the folder - file dated 2nd March 2007
7. Start Solidworks at 1,156kb.
It is not "Maxwell2007.dll2" but "Maxwell2007.dll", probably it is just a typo?

Hey!
I'm getting the exact same error! It seems that there is something wrong in the Maxwell2007.dll file version 1.1.17.0. I uninstalled this latest version and installed the version before it and it installs and works just fine (Maxwell2007.dll version 1.0.0.10).

I'm using Solidworks 2007 SP2.1
Windows XP 32bit SP2

Jukka - I didn't think to try the old version.

Alot of people have viewed this tread but only us two have reported the same problem.

Anyone loaded the new plugin without problems?

It seems that a dll is missing in some systems. Please any people that is getting these issue download the file QtNetwork4.dll from this location:

http://download.yousendit.com/349010302232365A

copy this file to the folder where Maxwell2007.dll is located and repeat this step:
6- Type regsvr32 Maxwell2007.dll

Please tell me if it works.

Sorry Juan - it does not work.

Copied QtNetwork4.dll into the same folder where Maxwell2007.dll is.

The did the step in the dos prompt

C:\Program Files\Next Limit\Maxwell\plugins\solidworks\regsvr32 Maxwell2007.dll

It still gives the Loadlibrary failure

Yeah! It worked! The file QtNetwork4.dll was missing and after I added it in the solidworks plugins folder the Maxwell2007.dll register just fine. After that I started Solidworks and there it was, in the add-ins! Great! Thanks for the help!

Just done it again - when I pasted the QtNetwork4.dll file into the folder it did not have its .dll extension on it - for what ever reason. Having seen Jukkas success -I have just added the .dll onto the file and then done the

C:\Program Files\Next Limit\Maxwell\plugins\solidworks\regsvr32 Maxwell2007.dll

And yes it worked

Or ayt least Regserver succeded.

I'll report on whether sw2007 now get the file :D

:D
I am glad to help. On monday we will do the installer more robust and we will add the dll to the installer. The new desing of the plugin requires to "hack" a bit the system to make it work and it has token some time to know which the most common causes of failure are.

Hi all,

We have upload the installer and now it contains the dll file that is necessary in some systems.

mlee516, does it happen with all your SW documents even with very simple parts? Do you get any crash importing materials or editing them? Do you see any warning in the text displayed below the material list?

Regards,

Juan

Runtime Error!

Can you please tell me how to fix this?
I used to get runtime errors when I did not have enough memory to support what it was I was doing. Are you using multilight and a high image size for your output. Just a thought. Could have nothing to do with Ram in your case I suppose.
