Anyway the texture handling is the main challenge for next versions. Also we will add tools to manage it in our next standalone.

Thanks Juan, I did have problems with the old plug-in hadn't tried it yet with the new one.

The biggest problem I can see with textures:- The SolidWorks texture scale is not working properly. In parts it is too big and if you apply a texture to a face to a part in an assembly the scale is STUFFED up.

But that is definitely a SolidWorks issue not Maxwell. SolidWorks Textures standard textures are not as good as they should be, so I’ll just have to make my own!

Juan does this mean that 1.0 standalone will not have texture tools? Or by next standalone do you mean 1.0. I was planning on taking my SW model into the standalone, and doing all the texturing and rendering functions there. Will this be possible with the 1.0 standalone. The lack of texturing on SW end makes the plugin unusable for me right now for production.
