What do you mean by mapping in the material menu.
Have you downloaded Juan's video tutorials? He shows how to assign a custom texture ( this can be used as a workaround for decals as well untill decals are implemented I think). he also shows how a texture jpg can be used to create a bumpy surface that mimics the texture. I am afraid I am not sure if all the check boxes are fully implemented for the 'plastic' material. Maybe someone in the know could answer. I wish that Maxwell would grey out features not implemented yet as it would save alot of time and confusion.
Have you got renderings that are without noise? Mine just seem to take hours to get rid of the noise and I wonder how people have the time to get the 'noiseless' renderings that are posted in the rest of the forum

How are youy getting on with sw2006 ? I tried hotoworks in sw2006 and it seems the indirect lighting is totally screwd up . Even with the 'noise' maxwell is just somemuch easier to use. I am slowly building a set of reflectors etc for a studio - I'll pst my efforts when I get them in a better shape.
