Hi Olivier,
There are more people that have this issue. In 2005 version the plugin has activeX controls that could crash with other components of your system. We have tried to reproduce this in our systems but we couldn't. In 2006 there are no activeX components and the installation is so much clean.Olivier Geoffroy wrote: Tried on 2005 but none of the dll's registered at installation. (following the guide)
Did anybody had the same problems? (I am still on 2005 SPO on Win 2000)
I don't know if I understand you. maxwell uses the texture menu of solidworks, there is no other map dialogue. In 2005 there is a known bug, maxwell only recognize textures assigned to faces (not to bodies or components) It also have been solved in 2006 version. It will be release next week. what do you mean when you say that mxll does not recognise surfaces? could you give me an example? We had a problem extracting geometries of lightweight components (already fixed), we have not found any other case with wrong geometri extraction. If you have found a bug please let us know. Thanks!Olivier Geoffroy wrote: MXR works fine, with know camera problems, but I cannot have access to the Color maps dialogue from any of the material. Could it be linked to the install problem ? Does anybody have access to color map yet ?
Also noticed that surfaces are not recognise by MXR. Is it a bug or a choice ?
