Is there a way to change the normal direction of a surfaceplane within Solidworks? I can create a planar surface with an emitter material and sometimes this plane works as an emitter, however often not. In Maxwell studio I know how to change the normal direction of the plane, but I don't know how to do this in Solidworks. Is this possible

I don't think there's any way to just change the normal; afaik, being a solids-based app, SolidWorks always decides that on its own. In an assembly, I would just rotate the plane. In a part, I would use Insert > Surface > Move/Copy > Translate/rotate.

Thanks. This saves me the time to look for Solidworks planar properties that don't exist in the first place... 8)
